NEW! NEHA Breakfast & General Assembly: Enjoy breakfast on NEHA Sunday morning! You are invited to breakfast and to take part in the General Assembly. The General Assembly is the opportunity for NEHA leaders and members to meet in-person and hold a constructive exchange about what relevant issues are impacting the practice environmental health. NEHA members have the opportunity at the General Assembly to express their thoughts about the association, its activities, and its future. Included with most registrations.

NEW TIME! Awards Ceremony & Keynote Session: This year the Awards Ceremony and Keynote Session have been moved to become part of the Sunday evening festivities. The excitement starts at 4:00pm with the Awards Ceremony, followed by the Keynote Session at 5:00pm, and the Exhibition Grand Opening & Party at 6:00pm! This is an evening not to be missed!
EPA Administrator, Lisa P. Jackson, has been invited as the keynote speaker. Her proposed presentation plans to focus on emerging public policy in regards to environmental concerns. It is also expected Administrator Jackson will talk about the relationship between a healthy environment and human health, and the environmental health profession’s role in securing a healthy environment/healthy people world.

American Academy of Sanitarians (AAS) Wagner & USPHS Honor Awards Reception: National recognition for those who have excelled in the profession will be given to the winners of the John G. Todd, Edward (Ted) Moran, John C. Eason, and Davis Calvin Wagner awards at this annual reception. No charge for this event.

Exhibition Grand Opening & Party: Gather the tools (the latest products, services, and information) to help you do your job better. Poster Session: The Poster Session will feature 40-50 posters on a comprehensive range of Environmental Health topics, ranging from Nanoscale Material Air Monitoring to Groundwater Manganese Concentrations and Infant Mortality in North Carolina. Authors of the posters will be in the SW Exhibit Hall from 8am to 11am, to present results of their studies to you and personally answer any questions you may have. Stop by for an interactive and educational experience!

Lunch-n-Learn1 and Afternoon Dessert in the Exhibit Hall2: These two activities are your opportunity to grab some grub and meet with exhibitors about your needs for products, services, and information to help you do your job even better. Annual UL Event at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center: The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center boasts a 10,000 sq. ft. museum featuring the authentic history and artifacts of traditional Pueblo cultures and their contemporary art. The Annual UL Event will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 6:00-9:00pm. This exciting evening includes a buffet dinner in the Courtyard, admission to the museum, and the entertainment of a flute player, oven bread demonstration, and a storyteller.
