Learning
Laboratory
Launched for the first time at NEHA’s 2008 AEC & Exhibition, the
Learning Laboratory provides interactive educational opportunities where
attendees can participate in field trips, small group or roundtable
discussions, tabletop exercises, hands-on workshops and other
alternative learning formats to obtain high-quality education and
skills. Some of the Learning Laboratory sessions planned for 2009
include:
-
Tours, lectures and other
informational sessions at CDC’s headquarters. NEHA is taking
full advantage of the opportunity to collaborate closely with CDC to
bring you a rare, inside-look into the workings and research this
prestigious agency is involved in.
-
Expanded Exhibitor Education
Forums. First introduced at the 2008 conference, the Exhibitor
Education Forum (EEF) is where exhibitors become educators to
discuss environmental health issues and share expertise on how they
can be partners in your efforts. Exhibitors will share innovations
and solutions garnered from their research and development that help
address pressing needs from the environmental health profession.
Attend sessions in both the Lecture
Hall and Learning Laboratory to maximize your conference experience!

was my first NEHA, and I plan to attend again. I didn't
realize the broad array of topics and all of the great people
I'd get to meet and interact with."
