May 8, 2008: 2008 Election Ballots Must be Postmarked
Mail ballots were mailed to all NEHA members on March 24, 2008. To be counted, your vote must be returned in the official NEHA envelope and postmarked by May 8, 2008.


May 15, 2008:  2008 Decade NEHA AEC Scholarship Application Deadline
NEHA members, affiliates, and prospective members are invited to apply to win one of 15 scholarships, totaling $10,500 for the NEHA 2008 AEC & Exhibition!

NEHA and Decade Software Company, LLC encourage qualified EH professionals to apply for this opportunity to win a $700 scholarship, which covers one full conference registration and includes $205 for travel allowance. Applications will be accepted from April 15 through May 15 to allow for selection and travel arrangements to be completed prior to the AEC & Exhibition.  Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!

May 16, 2008: Submission Deadline for CO Environmental Health Association's Call for Abstracts
CEHA is now accepting abstracts for the 2008 Annual Education Conference & Exhibition. A valuable part of the conference is the local representation of issues, accomplishments and developments by CEHA members.


May 23, 2008: Deadline to Submit Application for Epi-Ready Team Training—Foodborne Illness Response Strategies Workshop  
Applications are now being accepted for the Epi-Ready Team Training workshop that will be held in Tucson, AZ on June 20-21, 2008. Hurry! Application deadline is May 23, 2008, but spaces will be filled as qualified applications are received.
