NEHA is proud to partner with the National Network of Public Health Institutes, Texas Health Institute and Tulane University, in the development of the training curriculum Safe Water Program Improvement. This training curriculum consists of nine separate courses that focus on how to build and improve unregulated drinking water systems programs that affect public health.
Workforce Development and Program Quality Improvement are two of the timely topics that are covered in this curriculum and will prove valuable for agencies applying for or maintaining Public Health Accreditation.
This training is available as a no-cost online program directed at the environmental and public health workforce. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist in pilot testing the curriculum. NEHA will be providing 1 Continuing Education hour for each course of the curriculum that is completed as a pilot tester.
Please register below and you will be sent a link to the pilot training as soon as it is available. Anticipated release date of pilot program is early March 2017.
