NEHA 2010 Contested Elections
NEHA recognizes that elections are a critical part of the democratic process and are one way in which members have a voice in the running of their organization. This year, NEHA members will elect a 2nd Vice President and two Regional Vice Presidents respectfully from Regions 4 and 6. NEHA encourages all voting members to exercise their voting right. Click here to view the profiles of each candidate and select the person(s) who you think would best represent the interests of NEHA and its members.

A Special Membership Offer for the Tough Economy
NEHA will grant a free membership for up to one year for any NEHA member who has lost their job or who now works for less than 20 hours per week. Enjoy all of the benefits of a regular dues paying member – including voting privileges, subscriptions to NEHA’s e-News and the Journal of Environmental Health, and member rates on NEHA products and services. Member rates will also be honored for credential and certification programs. A person’s credentialed status would also not change as they will continue to be regarded as a credentialed NEHA member.

To qualify, eligible persons must submit a letter attesting to their circumstances. NEHA will also expect that when such persons regain full employment, they will let NEHA know. Their regular dues paying membership will resume at that point.

Letters requesting this special membership may be faxed to 303.691.9490 or submitted to staff@neha.org, which will be reviewed by NEHA for consideration. Any questions should be directed to NEHA customer service – 303.756.9090 x 0.
