I-FIIT workshop at the Food Safety Summit in Washington, DC on April 16th, 2012. Click to read more...
The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) in collaboration with the Food Safety Summit is pleased to offer a one day face-to-face training opportunity designed for those in industry at the retail food service, food stores and restaurant level. The purpose of this training is to bring together industry foodservice representatives and the appropriate local and state regulatory officials to establish a strong working relationship before a potential foodborne incident occurs so that if and when it does, the foundation is already set for a collaborative effort. By providing a better understanding of the investigation process as a whole, identifying industry’s roles and responsibilities during an incident, and industry establishing and implementing control measures based on model practices, it will produce a more rapid, efficient and effective response to a foodborne disease incident which will prevent further transmission of illness. Space is limited to 30 people so early registration is recommended.
For more information on how to apply, see the
workshop announcement on our I-FIIT
training schedule.
