This three day course was developed in recognition of the growing number of vector borne diseases adversely affecting major populations and the desire of the environmental health professional and other interested individuals to learn and understand the biology of insect and rodent pests.

NEHA, in partnership with CDC, is pleased to announce an Epi-Ready Workshop
to be held August 20-21, 2013 at San Ramon Community Center
in San Ramon, California. Training will include interactive exercises and discussion as well as educational lectures on
surveillance, outbreak detection, and environmental health, epidemiology, and laboratory roles in
response to local, county, state, and multi-jurisdictional foodborne illness investigations.
There is no charge for the workshop, but space is limited.
