ABOUT THE POSITION/DEPARTMENT: 
Full-time academic year probationary tenure track position in the Environmental Health program.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities are teaching undergraduate courses in the environmental health program and serving as program director. Candidate will be expected to develop a focused area of scholarship including publication of refereed journal articles. Additional responsibilities include participation in appropriate departmental, college, university, and professional service.

The College of Applied Science and Technology, one of six colleges, is home to eight departments offering programs that prepare students for technical and professional positions in education, government, business, and industry. The one hundred twenty-five faculty in the College are dedicated to student centered preparation activities as well as development of new information and professional practice in their respective areas. The Environmental Health program is accredited by EHAC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have earned doctorate in appropriate discipline or reasonably expect to complete the doctorate by May 15, 2010. Teaching and/or professional environmental health experience preferred. Certification as a REHS/RS, CIH, QEP, or similar certification is desirable.
