ABOUT THE POSITION
Performs technical work in the
enforcement of sanitation and environmental laws and regulations.
Inspects public and private facilities for compliance with sanitary and
environmental laws, regulations and zoning ordinances. Work is performed
within established policies, procedures and regulations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Baccalaureate degree in an
accredited environmental health curriculum or a baccalaureate in the
physical, chemical or biological sciences, including at least thirty
semester or forty-five quarter credits in the physical, chemical or
biological science, or a degree beyond baccalaureate in environmental
health or in a physical, chemical, or biological science.
Registered Environmental Health Practitioner with the State of North
Dakota within one year. REHS certification from the National
Environmental Health Association within five years.
Additional experience in the Field of Environmental Health preferred.
Must possess valid Driver's License.
Must be legally
authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships considered. Subject
to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
