ABOUT THE POSITION

EHP will coordinate public health emergency response planning for environmental health  activities in the SE central region of ND.  This position includes establishing partnerships with local health departments and providers in the region to assure emergency response for public health.  Also includes working on planning documents, providing presentations and assisting with public health emergency response activities.  Travel is required and applicant must be willing to be part of the 24/7 on call team for the region.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

BS degree in the field of physical, chemical or biological sciences is required and preference will be given to a BS degree from accredited environmental health curriculum or experience in environmental health.  Must be able to obtain a license as an environmental health practitioner within 15 months of employment.  Salary dependent upon experience and qualifications.
