ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of
Director, National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic
Substances and Disease Registry. The incumbent is responsible for
managing, directing, coordinating and evaluating all environmental
health-related programs, and providing overall leadership in
health-related activities for hazardous substances, hazardous waste
sites and chemical releases; provides overall coordination for the
research programs and science policies of the agencies; develops goals
and objectives and provides leadership, policy formulation, scientific
oversight and guidance in program planning and development
