Using the invasive species of the red lionfish as an example, this month’s column focuses on the importance of not allowing others to be the voice of environmental health. The column emphasizes that we need to be the first and most influential voice in the room when issues and decisions regarding environmental health are under discussion. It encourages us to tell our stories, remain positive, and focus on the personal impacts of our work.
