Grant Awards

Each year, we receive many competitive applications. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who takes the time to apply.

The following maps show the grant types by Calendar Year as well as the dollar amount funded for each grantee.

Year 3 (CY2024)

During year 3 of the NEHA-FDA Retail Flexible Funding Model Grant Program, we funded 563 projects in 254 unique state, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions. This shows 26% growth in the number of projects funded annually and 11.4% growth in the number of jurisdictions funded annually. This included providing $4.2 million in funding for 1-year grants (Track 1 Development, Track 2 Development, Special Projects, Training, Mentor, and Mentee Grants) and nearly $4.3 million in funding for Year-3 of the 3-year grants (Track 3 Maintenance & Advancement and Capacity Building Grants).

Year 2 (CY2023)

During year 2 of the NEHA-FDA Retail Flexible Funding Model Grant Program, we funded 478 projects in 229 unique state, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions. This included providing $3.1 million in funding for 1-year grants (Track 1 Development, Track 2 Development, Special Projects, Training, Mentor, and Mentee Grants) and $4.3 million in funding for Year-2 of the 3-year grants (Track 3 Maintenance & Advancement and Capacity Building Grants).

Year 1 (CY2022)

During year 1 of the NEHA-FDA Retail Flexible Funding Model Grant Program, we funded 446 projects in 228 unique state, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions. This included providing $2.7 million in funding for 1-year grants (Track 1 Development, Track 2 Development, Special Projects, Training, Mentor, and Mentee Grants) and $4.3 million in funding for Year-1 of the 3-year grants (Track 3 Maintenance & Advancement and Capacity Building Grants).
