Governance

Our association is governed by a 14-member Board of Directors that is chaired by the president of our association. The executive director serves as a nonvoting ex-officio member of the board. We have five national officers who serve on the executive committee of our association.

Serving under our Board of Directors is an array of various administrative and functional committees. Members can participate on our committees or serve as technical advisors for a wide variety of environmental health topics.

There are four board positions open for election in 2024. Voting will occur March 1-31, 2024. Learn more about the commitment and the nomination process for serving on our national board.
