Environmental Health Academic Program Accreditation Awards

Accreditation Awards for undergraduate and graduate academic programs helps to increase the number of programs accredited by the National Environmental Health Science & Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) in the U.S.

Bolstering the number of accredited environmental health degree programs will help to meet the demand for trained environmental health professionals. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (2018), Occupational Outlook Handbook: Environmental Scientists and Specialists report projects growth of the profession to be faster than average at about 6% in the next 10 years.

Award amounts vary between $5,000 and $10,000 and will be based on the funding need outlined in the application. Selected applications are not guaranteed the full award amount requested, and receipt of award does not guarantee EHAC accreditation.
