This will be an instructional webinar for the Model for Analysis, Sharing, and Standardizing Food Electronic Environmental Data, or MASS FEED.
MASS FEED is a tool to reliably collect, utilize, share, and assess food service facilities (e.g., cafes, restaurants, and mobile food units) alongside retail food facilities (e.g., grocery stores, vending operations, and farmers markets) using inspection data that comes from numerous agencies. It also provides a common data structure for building environmental health data collection systems.
MASS FEED is designed to be adaptable to changes in technology and regulatory practices, while accommodating diversity in restaurant and retail food facility inspection systems. The model is based on critical fields within risk-based inspection practices as found in the FDA Food Code and a sample of Georgia's statewide database of inspections.
