Disruption seems to be the hallmark of the modern world. And some of it is our own making. In this month’s column, NEHA’s executive director delves into some of the disruptions that have plagued our profession and the organization. It also addresses ignorance—of the professional, the profession, and our organization—as our enemy. Over the last year, NEHA has implemented many changes and taken public positions that ensure we can provide our members the support and representation needed to be effective. While the changes might not make everyone happy, our aim is at once noble and true.
