What do you think was the greatest accomplishment of the 20th century? Space exploration? Television? The Internet? President London makes the case that separating people from their sewage was one of the greatest accomplishments of the last century. Building upon this idea and how the evolution of environmental health was influence by our nation’s recognition that drinking water and food contaminated by microorganisms is detrimental to human health, London looks forward to how we can continue to evolve our profession in the 21st century.
