Join the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) as we celebrate National Food Safety Education Month! This observance is an opportunity for us to recognize the hard work and dedication of those in the food safety workforce. We value the commitment food safety and environmental health professionals have made to this field and are excited to fight foodborne illness alongside you as we continue to learn, share, and support each other.
We have kicked off the month with messages of support from NEHA President Sandra Long and NEHA Executive Director Dr. David Dyjack.
We will be honoring members of the food safety workforce who have gone above and beyond with our Food Safety Heroes campaign. Don't miss out on recognizing a Food Safety Hero. We will post a blog later this month to highlight your heroes.
Get back to basics with one (or all!) of our foodborne pathogen webinars scheduled every Tuesday in September. During this 4-part webinar series, subject matter experts will share their knowledge on foodborne pathogens including norovirus, Vibrio, Salmonella, and Cyclospora. Take advantage of this opportunity to dive into the science of foodborne illness.
Looking for more food safety resources? We have also highlighted NEHA's food safety credentials, certificate programs, COVID-19 resources, and more.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
