The U.S. Food and Drug Administration Office of Training Education and Development (OTED) is looking for retail stakeholders to help validate a set of competencies for Basic Level Regulators of retail food establishments.
These competencies have been identified by an expert workgroup comprising Federal and State regulators, NEHA, AFDO, and IFPTI.
The workgroup identified four content areas relevant to Basic Level Regulators of retail food establishments:
- Regulatory Foundations for Retail Food Safety
- Risk-Based Inspections
- Non-Traditional Food Operations
- Introduction to Specialized Processing Methods
We are now asking for your help in validating these competencies by completing this survey.
The survey should take 30 minutes or less to complete, depending on how many of the four content areas you wish to address. Each question on the survey has an optional “Comment” box. You will also be given the option to skip over content areas that you do not feel comfortable with.
