The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is offering a new funding opportunity to support state, territorial, local, or tribal government health departments in carrying out HiAP demonstration projects. The purpose of this grant is to utilize environmental health data to advance the Health in All Policies efforts of government health departments. This opportunity is intended to leverage existing cross-sector projects to improve environmental health outcomes using at least two of the seven HiAP strategies as defined by Gase, et. al (2013), one of which must be to integrate research, evaluation, and data systems. New programs will not be considered due to time and funding constraints.
The deadline to submit proposals is November 29, 2019.
