Environmental Health Support in the U.S. Virgin Islands

The USVI Environmental Health Services project consists of six two-week long workforce and food safety trainings. In February, NEHA conducted the first two-week training with the USVI Department of Health, Environmental Health division.

The project will also entail an update to the USVI Environmental Health code as well as a performance evaluation plan for environmental health professionals.

This project was supported through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
