About the Position

Volunteer CPA needed for nonprofit: National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), the only membership-based organization for all environmental health professionals in the United States is looking for a volunteer CPA to advise our finance/audit committee.  Our total revenue for 2019 was $7.6M.  Responsibilities of the volunteer position include: work as advisor to the finance/audit committee of this nonprofit, commit 5-10 hours per month meeting with the committee and reviewing the annual audit as well as working with the Associate Executive Director of Finance and Administration, as needed.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications include: Current and valid CPA license in the state where you reside, Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting, experience as CFO of a similar nonprofit organization, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and experience with nonprofit auditing and accounting procedures.
