About the Position

We are seeking strong applications for a 9-month fixed term instructor position in the Environmental and Occupational Health program at Oregon State University’s College of Public Health and Human Sciences, to start January 2022 at the earliest. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) program for educating student on the identification and evaluation of hazards through field sampling and analysis in order to develop prevention and management strategies, and to evaluate strategy effectiveness. These roles range from implementation of workplace health and safety improvements, implementation of injury prevention, and assessment of environmental exposure to pollutants through air and water quality sampling. Administrative duties will include serving as coordinator for undergraduate students in the EOH minor working closely with the graduate program director. This person will be in charge of marketing, outreach and other resources to help build the EOH undergraduate degree option.
