Attendees

Will the 2022 RPSS be offered live in person, virtual, or hybrid?
The 2022 RPSS will be offered virtually only. Future RPSS events may be offered in person or hybrid. 
 
How do I access the virtual platform for the RPSS?
Registered attendees will be sent an access link to our virtual platform, about 1-2 weeks prior to the live event. Attendees will also receive an invite to attend a “how to” session in advance of the live event, where they can learn how to navigate the virtual platform.
 
Will attendees have access to on-demand content following the virtual event?
Yes, attendees will have on-demand access to the recorded virtual educational sessions for 6 months.
 
Will attendees have the opportunity to ask questions via the virtual platform?
Yes, attendees will be able to ask questions during the Track Sessions and during the virtual Exhibit Hall Sessions.
 
Will attendees have the opportunity to give feedback on the quality of the Symposium?
Yes, attendees will receive a link to a short survey at the end of each of the nine (9) Track Sessions. Additionally, they will receive a link to an end of Symposium Survey to indicate their perceptions of the General Sessions, Exhibit Hall Sessions, and overall impressions.

How do I register?
 
Do I have to be a member of NEHA to register?
While there is tremendous value in NEHA membership, membership is not required to attend RPSS.
 
Do I have to create a MyNEHA profile in order to register and is there a cost to create a MyNEHA account?
In order to register for the conference, a MyNEHA account is required. A MyNEHA profile is free to setup.
 
What is the cost to attend the 2022 RPSS?
There is NO cost to attend the 2022 RPSS!
 
How do I know if I am confirmed to attend?
Upon submitting your registration, you should have received an automated confirmation email. If you did not receive, contact rpss@neha.org.
 
Can I register a group to attend from my organization?
Currently, registrations must be submitted individually, but more than one person can register for the Symposium.
 
I can no longer attend the RPSS, how do I cancel?
To cancel your RPSS Registration, please log into your MyNEHA account and follow the steps below:
  • Go to the Events tab
  • Click My Events
  • Click on the 2022 RPSS
  • Click Cancel Registration
  • Complete the form and submit in order for NEHA to process your cancellation

Speakers and Presenters

Am I required to register for the RPSS?
No, Speakers will not be required to register.
 
How do I access the virtual platform for the RPSS?
Speakers will be sent an access link to our virtual platform, about 1 month prior to the live event. Speakers will also receive an invite to attend a webinar in advance of the live event, where they can learn how to navigate the virtual platform.
 
Are speakers responsible for evaluating their own sessions?
No, Speakers are not responsible for evaluating their own sessions. NEHA will provide attendees with end of Track Session Survey links and an Exit Survey for more global symposium impressions.

Continuing Education

I have a NEHA credential (CCFS, CFOI®, CFSSA®, CIOWTS, CP-FS®, HHS, REHS/RS®), how should I submit the hours from this Symposium?
Submit the total number of hours using your MyNEHA account on the neha.org website. Login with your User ID and Password. On the right side of the screen, look for “My Credentials and CEs." Click on "Report CE Credits.” Complete the Self-Report CE Credits form. Please note the maximum CEs for the RPSS is 9.0.
 
Do I need to list each session/course separately?
No, submit as one line item titled 2022 Retail Program Standards Symposium on your Self-Report form and enter the grand total number of hours (up to 9.0).
 
How many CE credits do I earn for attending the RPSS?
The maximum number of CEs for the RPSS is 9.0 hours. If you did not attend or watch the entire event, please count only the time you spent watching the educational session. The Exhibit Hall Sessions, Closing Sessions, and Breaks do not count towards CE hours. One hour of time spent learning equals one CE. Fifteen-minute sessions are rounded to 0.5 and forty-five-minute sessions are rounded to 1.0. 
 
Can I enter in my continuing education online if I do not hold a NEHA credential? 
No, this is available only to those that hold a NEHA credential. 
 
I have a ____ credential from ____ state. What do I need to do to get credit with them?
You need to speak with your individual state or whomever manages your credential and submit your hours to them in the manner they instruct you to. Other organizations that have credentials might not accept this Symposium as continuing education.
 
My state/organization requires that I send them a certificate showing I attended, where do I get that?
An automatic CE tracking email will be sent to all attendees that attend after the conclusion of the Symposium. In order to receive credit for attending a session, attendees must be logged into the session for at least 90% of the session and must complete a brief survey after each session.
 
How do I get a certificate when I watch on-demand? 
All registrants will have access to on-demand session 2 weeks after the conclusion of the RPSS. Access will be through NEHA’s Learning Management System and Certificates will be automatically sent after viewing individual sessions.
