Speaker Orientation
Join us for the AEC Speaker Orientation, where we'll review everything you need to know to prepare for a successful presentation at the Annual Education Conference (AEC). Topics will include navigating the conference platform and mobile app, preparing for your presentation, and what to expect once you arrive onsite. There will also be time for questions and answers. All AEC presenters are welcome and encouraged to attend. The session will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to join live.

AEC Speaker Orientation
Conference Platform/App
Presenters will gain access to the AEC platform and app approximately 2 weeks before the start of the conference. A personalized invitation will be sent to registered speakers via email. The platform/app will contain everything you need to know about the AEC and will serve as the primary communication tool for navigating the conference. The AEC platform/app will house the educational agenda, event schedule, activity locations and maps, virtual offerings, resources, and communication platform. At times, last-minute adjustments may be necessary that can affect your session. Before your session, check the AEC app to confirm your session date, time, and room.
Once you have received your invitation to join the platform/app we ask that you download the Swapcard app, which can be found in your iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, log in and select the 2026 Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition event.
Speaker Ready Room
This is a dedicated space for speakers. You will have access to this room throughout the conference to prepare for your session and meet with your fellow presenters. This room will be equipped with tables, chairs, and a laptop. The laptop is intended for quick presentation download, please limit usage. Wi-Fi will be available. Check the AEC app for the Speaker Ready Room schedule and location.
Posters
Interested in showcasing your professional work at the AEC? Be a part of our Poster Hall and share your project with a diverse audience. Selected presenters may participate in person and virtually.
- In Person Poster Hall: Display and present your poster in the Poster Hall, during the Exhibition Grand Opening on Monday evening, August 3rd, and during regular Exhibition hours on Tuesday, August 4th. Engage directly with attendees in person, discuss your findings, answer questions, and build meaningful professional connections.
- Virtual Poster Hall: Display your poster to all conference participants in the Virtual Poster Hall, via the conference platform/app. Your poster will be displayed during the full week of the conference. There is no presentation component for virtual posters. This is intended for presenters unable to travel to the AEC and as a complement to those presenting in person.
