Informatics Committee

Our Informatics Committee is comprised of public and private sector experts working in partnership to:

  • Identify and recommend training gaps, needs of the profession, and emerging issues
  • Identify best practices, successes, and challenges for environmental health professionals in data-utilization
  • Guide, give input, and participate in the development of informatics projects and programming
  • Promote and disseminate informatics-related and committee-developed materials and resources

Mission

To be a resource for environmental health professionals and leadership who are developing informatics resources and programs to increase workforce capacity and foster improved data-utilization to protect public health.

Members

Local, state, federal, and industry professionals with environmental health and data expertise.

Commitment

  • 3 hours per month
  • 2-year term
  • NEHA membership must be in good standing for the duration of the term
