Retail Program Standards Symposium
Retail Program Standards Symposium (RPSS) is just around the corner! This symposium focuses Progress in Motion, providing the information and connections jurisdictions need to maintain and grow their programs. The Symposium supports and educates retail food safety jurisdictions at state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) levels, whether just beginning with the Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards) or maintaining conformance with them.

Have a project, success story, or lesson learned that could inspire others in retail food safety? The RPSS planning team invites you to submit an abstract for the upcoming Symposium. This is your chance to showcase your work, connect with peers, and contribute to advancing the Retail Program Standards.

What we’re looking for:
- Success stories of overcoming roadblocks to Retail Program Standards adoption and progress
- Risk factor studies and interventions
- Approaches to Standard 8 Program Assessment
- Building positive industry and community relations

- Abstract submission opens: December 11, 2025
- Abstract submission closes: January 16, 2026
