Advance Payment Requests
Although the default for all grants is reimbursement at the completion of the project, we do offer advance payments by request, when needed. If your agency requires an advance payment for one or more of your grants:
- Send an email request to retailgrants@neha.org. Be sure to include the Grant ID # for any grant(s) for which you need advance payment.
- You will then log into the grant portal and navigate to the "Reports Due" section on the left menu to complete and submit the Advance Payment Request.
Interim Reimbursement Requests
An Interim Reimbursement Request may be submitted during the project year if needed for completed traditional reimbursement deliverables. Documentation of expenses is required for traditional reimbursement deliverables upon submission of an Interim Reimbursement Request. Interim Reimbursement may not be requested for Fixed Funding deliverables until the entire grant project has been completed. Instead, if funding is needed before project completion for fixed funding deliverables, a grantee may request an advance payment, with confirmation of deliverables in the Final Progress Report.
If your agency requires an interim reimbursement for one or more of your grants:
- Send an email request to retailgrants@neha.org. Be sure to include the Grant ID # for any grant(s) for which you need an interim reimbursement.
- You will then log into the grant portal and navigate to the "Reports Due" section on the left menu to complete and submit the Interim Reimbursement Request.
Please Note: Although interim reimbursements are available to all grantees, any payment received for add-on portions of your grant (i.e., training and mentorship) may have to be returned to NEHA if the required objective(s) of your base grant are not met.
Important Notes About CY2024 Grants
- Because CY2024 is the 3rd and final year of NEHA's initial FDA Cooperative Agreement that supports the NEHA-FDA RFFM Grant Program, we will be unable to offer extensions. Project objectives and all project expenditures for all grants must be completed by December 31, 2024.
- Final Progress Reports for all 1-Year and 3-Year grants, which now include a Final Payment Request, are due on February 12, 2025.
